The Transparency Council has published its report on compliance with the Law on Transparency, Access to Public Information and Good Governance in the Institutional Public Sector, in which FIAP passes with flying colours: it meets 94.7% of the requirements.
FIAP achieves a rating close to excellence in the recently published report by the Transparency Council, the Independent Administrative Authority that protects the right of access to public information and monitors compliance with transparency and active publicity obligations at the state level.
With a score of 94.7%, FIAP has gained 42 percentage points this year compared to the 2024 assessment of compliance with the Law on Transparency, Access to Public Information and Good Governance in the Institutional State Public Sector. This recognition reaffirms FIAP’s integrity as the Foundation’s core value and hallmark.
‘This Council can only highly praise the efforts made by FIAP to improve compliance with the active disclosure obligations that apply to it.’
The assessment evaluated aspects such as compliance with active disclosure obligations, which stem from Law 19/2013, and the location and structuring of this information on the websites of the organisations evaluated.
This work has been made possible thanks to the leadership and coordination of the Internal Audit and Risk Control department, which has also worked with the Communications team to create a clear, accessible and purposeful Transparency section on the FIAP website.
