Twenty-nine participants from 13 Caribbean countries attended this practical training to strengthen their technical capacities and resilience to disaster risk across the Caribbean.
This training, organised within the framework of the EU-Caribbean Cooperation Mechanism, has provided participants with free and accessible tools from the European Union’s Copernicus programme. The aim has been to analyse Earth observation data and satellite images and convert this information into practical information for real-world decision-making in the event of a disaster.
