The European project has conducted training on early warning to prevent terrorist threats and on forensic management.
As part of its ongoing support to Jordan’s fight against terrorism, the CT JUST project is implementing two key capacity-building initiatives aimed at reinforcing national resilience and operational readiness across security institutions.
Twelve members of the Jordanian security forces participated in the second module of a specialized training program focused on the Early Warning Concept to Prevent Terrorism Threats. Delivered by CT JUST and a short-term expert from The Red Team Analysis Society, the training enhanced participants’ ability to detect and assess threats through advanced use of Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), data visualization, and predictive modeling, while emphasizing respect for human rights and privacy standards.
Concurrently, CT JUST launched a Train of Trainers (ToT) program in forensic crime scene management, equipping 15 investigators (10 men and 5 women) to become national forensic instructors. This initiative builds on the lessons learned during Jordan’s 2024 national crisis simulation “Dar Al Aman 4” and responds to the growing need for institutionalized, high-level training. Structured in three modules from May to September, the program combines theoretical knowledge, practical simulations, and a strong ethical foundation, developed in cooperation with the Public Security Directorate (PSD), the EU Delegation in Jordan, and the Service for Foreign Policy Instruments (FPI).
Together, these efforts represent a strategic investment in Jordan’s long-term security and justice capacity, advancing both preventive intelligence tools and forensic professionalism to confront terrorism with effectiveness and integrity.
