The FIAP Board of Trustees, meeting online today, has approved the action plan for 2027, which must be adopted during the last three months of the previous financial year in accordance with the Law on Foundations.
FIAP anticipates an increase in the level of activity within the framework of the various programmes and projects it implements in more than 120 countries. In line with the 2025–2028 Strategic Plan, it is also consolidating its work on technical cooperation between institutions within the framework of Spanish and European cooperation.
At this meeting, the departure of the Foundation’s current director, Francisco Tierraseca Galdón, who has held the post since February 2024, was also approved by mutual agreement.
The duties of the director will be assumed by the Secretary-General whilst the post remains vacant, as provided for in Article 28.3 of the FIAP Statutes.
The last meeting of the Board of Trustees was held in July 2026. At this meeting, the 2025 accounts were approved with an unqualified audit opinion, as was the 2025 annual report.
