This Privacy Policy has been developed taking into account the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and other applicable regulations, in order to guarantee at all times the fundamental right to data protection.

Why do we process your personal data?

– To fulfill our mission of managing international development cooperation projects, including participation in twinning projects, delegated cooperation through grants, and technical assistance: mobilization of experts, security, and justice initiatives organized by the International Foundation for Ibero-America and Public Policies (F.S.P.).

– To send information and newsletters about the programs of the International Foundation for Ibero-America and Public Policies (F.S.P.) via electronic means, even after our relationship has ended, unless the interested party indicates otherwise.

– To invite you to events and/or conferences organized by the International Foundation for Ibero-America and Public Policies (F.S.P.).

– To respond to requests for consultation and information.

-Photographs and videos, images taken during the various events, may be used for dissemination through publications, websites, social media, etc.

Legitimate basis for processing

The processing of your personal data is legitimate for the execution and maintenance of the contractual relationship between you and the INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION FOR IBERO-AMERICA AND PUBLIC POLICIES (F.S.P.). In other cases, unless you request its deletion, your data will be kept blocked for the minimum period required by current legislation and for the applicable legal limitation periods.

International Data Transfers

The International Foundation for Ibero-America and Public Policies (F.S.P.) may transfer your data outside the European Economic Area to providers located in countries that offer an adequate level of protection, such as companies adhering to the Privacy Shield. In any case, contracts have been signed with these companies that safeguard the security of personal data in accordance with European regulations.

Your personal data may also be shared with third countries involved in the specific cooperation project in which you participate as a professional expert, even if those countries do not have an adequate level of data protection. This international data transfer is necessary for the execution of the project, and by participating, you consent to it.
