EU-ACT, action against drug trafficking and organised crime

The aim of this project is improving the effectiveness and operational cooperation of agencies responsible for investigating drug trafficking and the organised crime associated with it. In addition, the project supports beneficiary countries in the prevention of drug use, as well as in improving treatment for drug addiction, covering, in general, all drugs policies, in line with the European Drugs Strategy 2013-2020.
It is a project financed by the European Commission with a budget of €12,000,000 which FIIAPP is managing for four years in collaboration with experts from the Spanish Interior Ministry, who will work on activities together with their counterparts in France, Italy and the United Kingdom.

As part of its work to improve public systems, FIIAPP forges alliances with other institutions. This week we will learn about the work of the General Secretariat of Prisons and the cooperation projects, managed by FIIAPP and funded by the European Union, with which it collaborates. Among these are the twinning project entitled Improved management of terrorists and dangerous criminals in Turkish prisons, and the EU-ACT project to take action against drugs and organised crime.
