EU Action for Cyber and AI

The EU Action for Cyber and AI initiative addresses the global challenge of digital transformation, emphasising the need for regulatory convergence and digital sovereignty. The action aims to promote the interests of the EU and its partners in driving forward a human-centred digital transformation. It will contribute to the fulfilment of the EU's global ambition to promote a fair, resilient, inclusive, green and human-centred digital transformation worldwide, as well as providing an alternative approach to the competition models for a digital economy and society that are currently present in the international sphere.

Project objectives

General

The overall objective of this action is to promote human-centred digital transformation based on the fundamental values of the EU worldwide.

Specific

Enhance partners' capabilities with regard to the nexus of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence by promoting regulatory convergence and digital sovereignty in an open manner.

Specific

Strengthen international commitment to a free, open, secure and safe cyberspace based on rights, secure and resilient connectivity with a focus on investment and responsible use of AI.

Specific

Improve digital capacity and strengthen digital citizenship by increasing the number of girls and women with the appropriate skills needed to lead an inclusive digital transformation.
