FIIAPP is collaborating with Europol in this project funded by the European Commission by organising information exchange activities between the different European security forces. These are being carried out within the framework of a grant from EMPACT (European Multidisciplinary Platform Against Criminal Threats). The objective is to raise awareness of the current situation of firearms.
The project will identify the most important trends and threats, which will help improve efforts in the areas in which the threats are most present. At the conclusion of the activities, a seminar will be held in Europol to present some of the results and objectives achieved.
