The objective of this project, funded by the European Commission, in which FIIAPP collaborates in management, is to strengthen existing risk prevention and mitigation measures at the local, regional, and national level in the beneficiary countries.
It also aims to improve preparation, facilitate the deployment of the appropriate alarm systems at the regional level, and improve coordination between the operational centres involved with the at-risk population during its 36-month duration. It will also introduce a post-disaster recovery plan in the national civil protection systems.
